Madam, Sir,

CODATU has the pleasure to invite you to a symposium on October the 14th 2014 at CNAM in Paris with its partners: CNAM, GART, United-Cities France, the Partnership on Sustainable Low Carbone Transport and Bridging the Gap Initiative. The theme of the symposium is:

“Climate change: a common opportunity to transform urban transport?”.

Held just three weeks after the UN-Secretary General Climate Summit and before the twentieth Conference of the Parties (COP20) that will take place in Lima on December, this symposium will allow the analysis on the current situation of the role that can be played by transport sector on the fight against climate change.

Through this event, we want to the present the theme of the next CODATU Conference which will be held in Istanbul from the 2nd to the 5th of February 2015 and to mobilize stakeholders for COP21, Paris December 2015. CODATU will also launch an initiative carried by local representatives that is entitled “We have much more than transports in common”.

In addition, this event will also allow us to pay tribute to Jean-Claude ZIV, founder of CODATU who passed away more than a year ago.

We will be pleased to have you among the participants of this symposium. You can have access to the program by clicking on this link.
