[Event] CODATU at the European Mobility Exhibition

CODATU will be organizing and chairing a round table on "Urban mobility in the global agenda: from COP21 to HABITAT III". This round table aims at preparing the "new urban agenda" for HABITAT III, through a discussion on urban mobility challenges and the innovations which will enable a rapid transformation of urban transport.



[Event] CODATU at the 7th Forum of International Actions of the French United Local Governments

4-5 th July, 2016, Paris (France)

Cités Unies France (French United Local Governments), GART, FNAU and CODATU joined forces to create the committee "International action of local governments in the field of urban planning, transport infrastructures and urban mobility". The first meeting of the committee will be held on tuesday 5th of July 2016, 2.30pm to 4.00pm, during the 7th Forum of International Actions of the French United Local Governments.

[Event] CODATU at the WCTRS International Conference

10-15 July, 2016, Shanghai (China)

This year, CODATU will be a major partner of the International Conference on Transport WCTRS. CODATU will be organizing a special session on "CODATU and HABITAT III" and will chair the WCTRS-Young conference, as well as the H5 session "Urban Transport in developing countries".

The call for abstracts for Velo-City 2017 is now open! In 2017, this world bicycle summit of the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) will be held in Arnhem-Nijmegen, in Netherlands, from 13th to 16th June.

[Conference] Urban Mobility India (UMI) 2016: "Planning mobility for city's sustainability"

8-11 November 2016, Gandhinagar, India

For the 9th consecutive year, the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) is holding an Annual Conference-cum-Exhibition on urban transport. This conference is one of the important outcome of the National Urban Transport Policy (NUTP) layed-down by the MoUD in 2006. For the first time, the conference will take place in Gandhinagar (Gujarat).



[Article] In Cape Town, trainings to integrate paratransit with the BRT

This article is the outcome of a 6-month intership for CODATU in the south-african firm ODA, where the interns have analysed the caracteristics of these trainings launched in 2007, and studied its replicability in other african countries.

[News] PADDI: the booklets n°55 et 56 are available!

PADDI, a city-to-city cooperation between the Rhone-Alpes region (France) and Ho Chi Minh Ville Province, recently published two booklets on transport: "Place making around metro stations: the example of the line 2 of HCMV" and "Managing and operating an urban transport network".
